Resisting Casteism in Australia
You are warmly invited to a special, reflective afternoon for the Sydney private screening of the poignant documentary film, "Resisting Caste(ism) in Australia".
This thoughtful film by Vikrant Kishore takes viewers on a 3,500-kilometre journey across Australia. Through gentle, honest conversations on discrimination, resistance, identity, and the pursuit of dignity and equality, it reveals how caste continues to shape and affect the lives of the South Asian diaspora.
Recognized as an official selection at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival 2026 and the Mannheim Arts and Film Festival 2027, this screening offers a safe, open space for community reflection, awareness, and mutual understanding.
